Gentian eau-de-vie Recipe

Ingredients for 1 liter :

  • About 5g of dried roots
  • 1 liter of white wine
  • 180g of sugar or liquid cane sugar or honey
  • ½ glass of brandy

Preparation:

1. Clean, wash and brush the roots. Cut in small pieces
2. Place in a jar with the brandy for 2 days
3. After 2 days, add sugar and wine
4. Let stand for 12 days before you filter and pour into bottle
5. Wait a few days before to enjoy
