Gentian Orange & Vanilla Recipe

Ingredients for 1 liter :

  • 1 bottle of dry white wine
  • 1 orange peel (organic)
  • 200 g powdered sugar
  • 200 heads of chamomille
  • 20g bitter orange peel (organic)
  • 5 g gentian root
  • 1 vanilla pod, split in 2 (optional)
  • 15 cl fruit alcohol at 40°C (optional)

Preparation 

  1. 1. Peel the orange with a vegetable peeler to remove the white peel
    2. Pour the wine into a bowl. Pour all the other ingredients
    3. Leave to macerate 5 or 6 days
    4. Filter, pour into a bottle and store in the fridge
