Gentian wine maceration

Ingredients for 1 liter :

  • Container of your choice
  • 30 to 40 g of dried roots
  • 1 liter of sweet white wine

Preparation :

1. Cover 30 to 40 g of dried roots with the wine
2. Let stand for 10 to 12 days, then filter

Plus : some recipes suggest to use only 12 to 20g of dried gentian roots. Some add bitter orange to the maceration.
